We
are pleased to announce that the School of Education met
all six National Council for Accreditation of Teacher
Education (NCATE) standards and was re-accredited until
2017. We are especially pleased that the School of
Education met Standard Four: Diversity, at the Target
level, the highest NCATE level of recognition. This
achievement could not have been accomplished without the
support and partnership of many, including our student
body, our full and part time faculty and staff, our
partnering schools and community based organizations and
our colleagues in the Arts and Sciences departments with
whom we collaborate in the preparation of teachers and
other educational professionals. For
